Anti-White Racism Leads to Funding Cancellation for Indy Car Event in Birmingham, AL

White Americans who believe that they will be treated fairly as “just another minority group” once the majority of that nation becomes nonwhite, should look no further than Birmingham, Alabama, for an example of the vicious anti-white discrimination which awaits them.
The Birmingham City Council, which represents a city which is now only 22 percent white (according to the 2010 US Census) has decided to halt further funding of the Honda Grand Prix of Alabama after 2013 because there are no black participants, either as drivers or spectators.
The funding has consisted of a $300,000 contract to Zoom Motorsports to run the event, which brings in a considerable amount of tourists and spin-off funds of around $80 million for the area.
Councilman Steven Hoyt (pictured left) questioned why a majority black city should continue to give money to the event run at the Barber Motorsports Park in Leeds on purely racial grounds.
“I’ve seen nobody, nobody who looks like me make any decisions with Barber sports. None. Zero,” Hoyt said.

Fellow black Council President Roderick Royal also objected to the contract and after a vote, the funding was officially withdrawn.
This was the same council which last year in December voted $300,000 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the “civil rights” events in the city.
* According to the 2010 US Census, 73.4 percent of the city is black, 22.3 percent is white, 3.6 percent Hispanic, 2.1 percent “other races,” 1 percent two or more races, 1 percent Asian, and 0.2 percent “native American.”
According to the 2009 FBI reports, Birmingham has the tenth highest crime rate in America. The U.S. News & World Report ranked Birmingham as the third most dangerous city in the nation for 2011 (only Atlanta and Saint Louis were ranked higher—both majority black cities as well).
According to statistics reported to the FBI, Birmingham has the seventh highest murder rate among US cities and is ranked eighteenth in violent crime. The Birmingham-Hoover Metropolitan Statistical Area was ranked as having the 35th highest crime rate in the US. It is home to about a quarter of Alabama’s population.
